Villa Pitin y Juana

Located on the road from Pinar del Rio to Viñales, this house is just at the entrance of the town, nice gardens with orchids, nice view of the mountains from one of the rooms located in the first floor, all rooms are air conditioned and have a private bathroom, they offer excelents breakfast and dinners and help you with all kind of service you need including excursions.

Villa Pitin Y Juana

My review: We expected Villa Pitin y Juana to be excellent based on existing online reviews and we weren't wrong. We were very well looked after over out 3 night stay, we were picked up at the bus station, despite the bus being an hour late and offered dinner straight away, and had a hike arranged for us first thing the next morning. Everyone in this family household was extremely welcoming, we just felt that we missed out because our Spanish was not good enough to converse with them properly. The food is top notch, massive lobster for 10CUC, expertly cooked, lovely fish with a tangy sauce, succulent pork, we tried everything. The mojitos are good also, and the setting is lovely with a big terrace garden and good quality room. We would also recommend doing a hike through the casa if you stay he! re as our guide was a charming local casa owner who seemed to enjoy it as much as we did and explained about the farming methods as we walked through the mogotes.
