For years it was not possible for a Cuban to rent rooms in Varadero for the simple reason, they didn't get a licensee to do so. Since 2011 this changed, the Cuban government gave green light to start a casa particular in Varadero. This is fantastic news since many travelers just do not like hotels in general let alone All Inclusive resorts

The average price of a casa particular in Varadero is between 35 and 45cuc per nigth per room.
There are also more expensive casas in this case you will rent the whole house or apartement, then the price should be around 75cuc per night
