Club Manolos
This place should be a monestary instead of a casa.
We wired a deposit to hold the reservation. When we arrived, everything seemed ok, once we unpacked and got settled, I put on my trunks to hit the pool. When I entered the living room on the way to the pool, I was sharply told to put on my shirt and that I would have to be dressed "decently" inside the house. I told him I was simply walking to the pool, he said I would have to respect the rules of this house.
A couple of hours later, my friend, who has a Cuban girlfriend, had her arrive. She was refused entry and my friend was told that no prostitutes would be allowed. My friend got deeply offended and a loud argument ensued.
The casa owner's son told us we'd need to find another place to stay, so we called a taxi and packed our things.
As we were ready to leave, we asked for our money back, as we'd spent less than 2 hours in the house. The casa owner told us that we'd forfeited the money because we didn't follow the rules. Again, an argument, then a short scuffle between my friend and the casa owner's son. The casa owner returned our money and we were on our way. A very strange way to start a holiday...

Very nice. A little pricey, but a great time. This casa is next to the national aquarium training pools. Every morning over breakfast, we would watch the dolphins play.
