Hostal Casa Verde 3709

My review: Hostal Casa Verde 3709 is a delightful elegant building. Behind the grand front door the casa has a beautiful colonial architectural interior. The casa has patio on the upper floor decorated with plants and a good view of the surroundings. The room is clean, has a ceiling fan, large windows, tv, refrigerator, hairdryer, private bathroom, and comfy beds. I particularly like that it is a short walking distance from Viazul bus station, in a quiet location only 50 meters away to the main street, close to the shops, street stalls and to Parque José Martí. On our arrival we were met by the casa owner Yosvany who is a kind, friendly and hospitable gentleman. We got to meet Baby, a lovely lady, briefly as we were leaving.
We had a pleasant stay at Hostal Casa Verde 3709 and would recommend the casa to anyone visiting Cienfuegos.

Hostal Casa Verde 3709

My review: At first , my family and I went to Cienfuegos to spend 3 days but we stayed more than a week! So you can imagine, how good we felt there. We are 4 persons from Spain, my sister and me (21 and 24 years old) and my parents.

The house is beautiful, the rooms are big and comfortable . There is a terrace where you can rest and eat. Also, the location of the house is very good, next to the main street of Cienfuegos.

But the best of the house are their owners . Babi and Yosvani are a super loving and fun couple. They are very honest, they won't try to take advantage (at all) of the services they provide. All prices are cheap , including food (which, on the other hand, is great!!).
Yosvani is an excellent cook. They ask you everyday what you want to eat and drink, and he will get it and cook it . Babi is hilarious and has the house in very good condition.

In addition, they will provide you with other services, as explanations of nearby points of interest, or even private salsa classes!
We had a problem, my mother had to go to hospital. To prevent us were scammed or we had to wait a long, Babi came with us to the hospital and made everything much easier. They welcome you well and help you in everything you need.

Furthermore, Cienfuegos is a nice and quiet town where you have many facilities. The people are very friendly and not as pushy as in other cities (such as Havana or Trinidad). Moreover, from Cienfuegos you can easily travel to other very nice places like the Bahía de Cochinos, Playa Ancón, Playa Jirón, the natural reserve El Nicho, Trinidad... Babi and Yosvani explain you how to arrive.
If you like party, there are several places where you can hang out. My sister and me met people and used to go out every night. It is not a problem with Yosvani and Babi, but you have to be respectful and not make noise when you return.
The goodbye was emotional because we all had felt very well together. Surely, if we return to Cuba, we will stay at this home again. I totally recommend it! Enjoy the house, the city, the food and the company!

How was your room?: Rooms are beautiful. There are only two double rooms, one with a double bed and other with two single beds. With aire conditionated, closets...
How was the food they offer?: All prices are cheap, including food (which, on the other hand, is great!!).
Yosvani is an excellent cook. They ask you everyday what you want to eat and drink, and he will get it and cook it. He cooks a lot, so you're going to have a lot of food always!

My review: Brilliant place to stay! Baby and Jovanny SO friendly and helpful, and amazing cooks! We ate there every night, as the options in town looked limited. Amazing value for three courses of absolutely delicious local dishes. The breakfasts were huge also, enough to keep you going all day.
the house itself was charming inside, we were travelling with our son and the two rooms with shared bathroom were perfect. The roof terrace made a lovely spot to relax, or watch life go by below.
Location spot on, just off the Prado, and a short walk from the main square.
Highly recommended.

My review: It is very nice place and nice family. The house is in the city center by the main boulevard. All attractions is very near. Barbara and Jovany helped us to find antibiotics medicines and two evening we ate really delicious dinners. Jovany makes very good local soup with jugar and platano! The room is with very high ceilings and big bathroom. Really nice place to stay in Cienfuegos!
