Rooms are spacious with high ceilings.Breakfast on the roof garden involves stairs. 4 minutes walk from shopping zones and places of interest.

Casa Bella Perla Marina
We recently stayed at a Casa Particular in Cienfuegos, "Bella Perla Marina" run by Amileidis and Waldo, at Street 39, number 5818, on the corner of Avenue 60, Cienfuegos.
The casa is very central, with only a 5 minute walk to the Parque Jose Marti. The rooms are large, airconditioned, with ensuite bathrooms with adjustable hot water - very rare in Cuba! There is a garage available for guests and also a lovely roof terrace where meals can be served. Amileidis and Waldo were extremely informative and helpful and assisted us with arrangements for tours and other activities. On our first night in Cuba we had dinner at a Paladar, and the next night we had dinner at the casa. The dinner at Bella Perla Marina was so nice and such good value that we ate every night at the casa thereafter. We enjoyed my stay with Amileidis and Waldo so much that we stayed for 2 nights more than I originally planned.
We would not hesitate to recommend Bella Perla Marina to any future travellers to Cienfuegos in Cuba.

Casa Bella Perla Marina
Hmm. Although we made a reservation for 2 nights and did confirm our stay by phone the day before arrival we were told that we could only spend 1 night. Luckily the owner sent us the next night to a very convenient casa particular owned by a lovely lady: Martha Pena, Calle 39 no 5807 e/ 58 y 60, Cienfuegos. tel.(53)(43)525477. Her Casa de Hospedaje is highly recommended !

How was your room?: Convenient. No windows.
How was the food the offer?: Hmm. The owner was highly surprised that we didn\'t want to have dinner in his house and that we decided to have dinner elsewhere. At breakfast there was no butter and according to the owner there was no butter available on the whole island of Cuba (...)

Other comments: It is a clean and safe place to stay. Next time I would rather stay in a casa on the Punta area of Cienfuegos.

Casa Bella Perla Marina
This was, by far, the best casa we had during our stay in Cuba. Comfortable, clean, good food on the rooftop terrace and very pleasant hosts, speaking English (which seems pretty rare in Cuba).
In our opinion, the really deserve to be mentioned in The Lonely Planet!

How was the food the offer?: The food was very good, especially for Cuban conceptions.

Casa Bella Perla Marina
My wife and I were able to stay only one night with Waldo and his wife, I would have liked to have spent more time getting to know Cienfuegos. After time in Havana this city is a good change. At Casa Perla Marina the owners are gracious hosts and eager to share their knowledge of the city. The highlight of the stay is the rooftop terrace where good, filling meals are served and from where you can watch street life, have a view of the bay, or just relax. The house is modern, well-kept and spotless. I highly recommend it.
