If you want to find a place to eat where local people eat, then go to this restaurant. It's in the main street (Calle Garcia #119 at Saco y Figueredo) next to a bigger one, La Taberna and was recommeded to us by a nice woman who works in Felegrafo Hotel.
The waiter, Pedro, a very kind young man, speaks some English. The food was excellent just like the mohito, and they charge in local peso. Actually, I had one of the best mohitos here. Two big meat dishes with two juices, two beers, two mohitos, salad cost us 214 local pesos, less than 9 CUCs. So, we decided to go back again on our way back from Baracoa.
