My review: After almost two weeks of travel through Cuba, we came to Trinidad to spend three days in this dream house. Hospitality is the greatest gift on this visit, together with the wonderful cuisine of Richard and the charm of a colonial-style house fully preserved. We quickly feel at home. Certainly hope to enjoy it again and recommend you visit to know a little better what this beautiful city. Trinidad. A greeting. Ester

My review about the casa: Casa Leon, home of Dianelys and Ricardo was our first ever Casa experience in Cuba. We arrived on the bus from Havana, having been in a hotel, and were met by our hosts. They showed us straight to a perfectly clean, tidy and spacious double room with ensuite... even its own fridge. The building dates back from the foundation of Trinidad and is oozing with antique charm. Our hosts were great. The dinners and breakfasts were great, made to order and fresh. Dianelys and Ricardo made us feel welcome and relaxed. We would definitely recommend this Casa to all who visit Cuba! 5 stars *****

How was your room?: Two Double beds. Clean and comfortable with plenty of room extra. Fridge with soft drinks and en suite bathroom with shower. Air con and fan in room, all fully functional. Great!
How was the food they offer?: Amazing. We were given choices or asked what we would like and each meal time we were served a feast! Fish the first night was fresh, flaky and filling. Chicken on the second was tasty, with fried plantain and rice. Enjoyed every last bit. Complemented with starter salad, dessert and drinks. Breakfast were chosen by us and again were very filling.

I had the most amazing time in the casa with my family. Dianelys et Ricardo are super friendly and really respectful of the privacy. There is an amazing patio on the roof for you to enjoy trinidad at its fullest. Dianelys cooking is delectable. In the heart of the city, the casa is at proximity of everything: plaza mayor, markets, parks, museum, etc. I recommand this casa, the best in cuba. Good travel!

I'm an usual cuban crook. I like to go to Cuba in All Included. But this time I tried a Casa. What I wonderful choice I made! They are the most likable hosts you can find in Cuba and I give my name on it!
This house has to be the cleanest one in Trinidad for sure!
Don't go to Trinidad if you don't stay at this place because I've visited others and most others are not good at all.
The food is unbeleivable, there's a roof where you can stay all day long and take the sun but don't forget sun protection :)

We stayed at Casa Leon mi and my husband Richard a week from 1 to 8 February 2011 and we fallin loved with this Casa located in the heart of Trinidad.
Everything was perfect, the food is excellent and varied, hum a true delight.
The owners are very nice and very homey.
There are two comfortable rooms that are well equipped (air conditioning, hot water, LCD) in addition to being quiet and very clean.
Private terrace with superb view across the city.
I recommend it to everyone.
The Casa is beautiful, very clean and what a beautiful scenery!
We are going back next year for sure!

Firstly, I want to tell you that if you want to stay in one of the best Casa de Cuba, I strongly recommend the Casa Leon that is the perfect place to stay for your holidays in Trinidad de Cuba.
This beautiful Casa tercentenary that is easily recognizable by its imposing Lion's head on the wall outside, very well located: (170, Rosario Street) and near the city center (Place de Cespedes 300 meters) and 5 minutes walk from the historic center of the old city (Plaza Mayor 700 meters).
Your hosts are very polite, discreet and will do everything to make you feel like home.
Their prepared foods are always delicious and with good qualities products that are always fresh (fish, shellfish, vegetables, fruits Etc...Etc...).
There are two comfortable rooms that are well equipped (air conditioning, hot water, LCD) in addition to being quiet and very clean.
Private terrace with superb view across the city.
