Casa Cofradia
My review about: Just Amazing! We traveled around Cuba and we stayed one night on this magical place.
Our host Lia Llorente is an amazing friendly person. Me and my husband were delighted to stay there.
The house has perfect location - near bus station, and a few meters of the walking area, churches and everything else.
AND the house itself is just a marvelous! Very cute small yard and garden, amazing sealings and the best coffee that we had in Cuba.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
She also recommended the most amazing restaurant with live music - ask her.
And one tip - if you have more time in Cuba spend at least 2 nights in Trinidad - there is a lots to see.
How was your room?: Perfect, big, comfortable, very artistic
How was the food they offer?: We had only coffee - very good dough
Other services they offer: Very clean, very responsive host -ask her for everything
Other comments: Fully recomended

Casa Cofradia
How was your room?: Très belle, spacieuse et propre.

Casa Cofradia
My review: Our stay with Lia and Pachi was extraordinary. The casa was gorgeous: an open and airy building that has been beautifully restorted. Our bed was comfortable, everything was spotless, and the food was excellent. Most importantly, though, Lia and Pachi were amazing and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked in the door. Our lives were filled with music (literally and figureatively) during the days we spent with this beautiful people and we miss them already. Can't wait for our next visit!!

My review: I met Lia and Pachi through mutual friends of mine and they are very kind hearted, funny and trust worthy people. Besides that they are both very talented musicians. There home has a very positive welcoming energy that makes everyone feel as if they are in there own home. Lia encourages you feel free to do whatever you like. The ambiance of the house is very warm and inviting. Anyone who visits is sure to have a good time. The home decor is creative as the house is surrounded by interesting artists constantly. They have the best breakfast in all of Trinidad with fresh fruit, dulce de leche, cafe con leche and Tostadas.
I <3 Trindad and Lian and Pachi !!!

La Casa Cofradia
My review: First I must reveal that Pachi and Lia are long time friends of mine and I love them dearly. That said this is the first time I have been able to stay with them and it was perfect for me. The house is incredible, so tastefully restored and decorated. My room was spacious and the bed sooooo comfortable. But the best part is just being part of Pachi and Lia's daily life of music, family and friends. The location is ideal, close to stores, bars and taxi's. Pachi and Lia will not shower you with false attention in hopes of making an extra CUC... They are real and warm and wonderful people who will share what they have with their guests.

Casa Cofradia
My review: Our stay has been wonderful and we fully recommend this casa. Lia and Pachy have made our stay unique. The atmosphere in the casa was always open, charming and welcoming. We have truly enjoyed our stay. Thanks.
Casa specifics: English speaking, Fantastic hosts, Colonial, Cozy, Hidden gem, Roomy, Charming, Beautiful, Patio
Amenities: Private bathroom, Ceiling fan, Breakfast service, Queensize bed, Extra bed available, Bathroom with shower
How was your room?: The room was furnished in a very charming colonial style. It had a queen size bed, an extra bed and a renovated bathroom with private shower and toilet. The room had a fantastic wooden ceiling of 5-6 m height, was very spacious and had a window to the street. There was definitely enough space for a family with 1 kid like us. Everything was clean, cozy and nicely arranged.
How was the food they offer?: We had breakfast at the casa. Dinner was offered on special request. As we prefer having dinner at different locations, this was a good match. Breakfast consisted of toasted bread, butter, homemade jam, honey, peanut butter, fruits, coffee, juice, ... As breakfast was served in the sunny garden-like patio, it was a pleasure to get up in the morning.
Other services they offer: Lia and Pachy know Trinidad very well. They had very good recommendations for restaurants and places to see. As they are both musicians, they sometimes play at "Casa de la Trova" and other locations. They are also on YouTube. Search for "Duo Cofradia".
Other comments: The pictures you can find on Cuba Junky show the casa as it is. Since there is only one guestroom in the casa, all our comments refer to that guestroom. So you can be sure this is what you will encounter.

Casa Cofradia
My review: This place IS a gem! Right in the center of old Trinidad, Lia & Pachi offer their beautifully restored house to their guests, who they make feel like friends first minute you step over the doorstep. The place carefully done up and decorated with art & decorative furnishings spreads a warm, welcoming atmosphere, you don't wanna leave. The kitchen is simply awesome, you feel like in a home story - this being the place where Lia prepares a fantastic breakfast. Much of it is homemade - grown on their patch of farmland, which you can take a short walk to right out of town. Alongside with fruits, bread & fresh juice come honey, homemade jam - and looovely cream cheese! Both are musicians, their house is an open, hospitable place - with friends & family coming and going. The guest rooms are spacious, carefully decorated - little soap & shower gel in a basket waiting for you, everything feels like it has been given thought and love to. Bottomline: This place is great! Totally recommended.
