Casa Marcia Starfishostel

My review: We stayed with Marcia on two occasions during our Cuba trip, total 4 nights. The casa is on a great location: very close to a very nice stretch of the Varadero beach, and close to restaurants and shops. The room had a private bathroom and was, in general, nice to stay in.
How was your room?: Clean, had AC, private entrance, private bathroom, towels

Casa Marcia Starfish

My review: I highly recommend this Casa. Marcia is a very nice host, she greets you with her nice smile, and will make sure that your stay is wonderful. She is very helpful to get around in Varadero and other cities. the Casa is located few steps from the beach. I found that this is a great location, it is right in the middle of the peninsula, and it is where you want to be. Close enough to the bars so you can jump there at night, but far enough so you won't hear their noise.

How was your room?: The room is nice and cozy, it has a private bathroom and a fridge. It is kept clean and it was what we needed for our stay in Varadero.

How was the food they offer?: It was the best breakfast we had in Cuba! Marcia really invests in breakfasts and offers something new each day. In addition to the Fresh fruits she collects from her own garden like the bananas and the grapes, You find: eggs, cheese, meat, bread and butter. And of course a yummy coffee at the end. You can of course ask her for special kind of food if you want, we greatly appreciated what she offered.
