What a wonderful gem of a place. Perfectly located just two minutes from the beach in lovely gardens set back from the road. Beny (a former water polo coach of some thirty fours years) is a wonderful host. He organised our taxi from the airport , bought our bus tickets to Havana and also recommended a fabulous restaurant and provided us with a perfect place to stay. Our room, one of four was clean, cool and big enough for us both. Clearly he is a man at peace with the world and his happiness is so infectious. Breakfast was served downstairs in the dining room by members of his team three lovely girls who did everything to provide great food. Breakfast consisted of fruit juice and an assortment of tropical fruits, a choice of ham and cheese or eggs on toast however the highlight is their French toast which was fabulous. I can't speak highly enough of this place.

My review: Can I give six stars? Beny's House is better than a hotel, and has the perfect location in Varadero. Every day room cleaning and towel change, silent airconditioning, tasteful decorating, chairs available for guests to take to the beach, garden shower to wash away the sand. Nice hosts too!
Beny has lots of returning guest, who don't even bother to stay in one of the all inclusive hotels of Varadero. Book your room well in advance...

How was your room?: Beautiful, quiet at night (double pane windows), a big closet to store all your stuff, television, a fridge.

How was the food they offer?: Very good, the french toast for breakfast is recommended. I took dinner every night, ask for the Ropa Viejo if it is available, very nice beef stew.

Other services they offer: Private parking, beach chairs.

Other comments: It was lovely to end my Cuba tour here with four nights as close to the beach as I could get (cross the street).
