The most beautiful casa in Cuba. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The casa has an amazing rooftop terrass where you enjoy a very tasty breakfast. The room itself has amazing furniture and you feel like you are brought back to the golden days in Cuba. The location is also perfect for strolling around in Habana vieja and falling asleep to cuban music from the bar in the corner was just perfect. Definitely recommend this place and hope to stay here again!

Casa Vieja 1840

My review: The casa is a lovely place in the city centre . It's position is perfect to visit La Habana: you can walk in the old town and find everything you need just nearby.
The owners are very kind and can arrange trips if you ask them or recommend for places to eat. Seriously, if you go to visit la Habana just stay at Casa Vieja 1840!!!

My review: My partner and I stayed here twice on our trip in Cuba and it was wonderfull. Fantastic location right next to Plaza Vieja - like the most central place in Havana Vieja. Furthermore, we got a lot of nice recommendations for places to eat and they helped with a booking for another casa in Trinidad, which was really nice swell. Great hosts, and speak english, which is really nice! A great place to stay when you're in Havana!!

How was your room?: A perfect size room, with a big comfy bed and a lovely bathroom. In the morning we would walk onto the beautiful roof terrace, where the breakfast is served and you can sit with drinks from the house. A perfect place to relax after a long day of walking.

How was the food they offer?: Lovely breakfast every morning at the rooftop terrace. Loved the fresh fruit juices (no sugar!!) and the delicious pancakes served at breakfast. They served this next to fruit, eggs (the way you like it, from scrambled to sunny side), bread, toast, honey, preserve, butter, coffee/tea. A very luxurious breakfast for Cuban standards!

Other services they offer: They helped us book a other casa in trinidad, which was really nice and they helped with transportation. Gave good tips and recommendations for lunch/diner!

Other comments: Absolute favorite!
