My review: As a woman travelling solo Tati's casa was the perfect place for me as I was greeted with such warmth and kindness by Tatti and her lovely aunt. The room is a good size with private bathroom. There is a balcony view of the street and a dining area also.
How was your room?: The room was a good size with air conditioning. It was perfect for me and I slept very well. Tatti respected my privacy whilst also being at hand for all my questions and for guidance around the city. She and her Aunty Haeida were incredibly hospitable.
How was the food they offer?: The breakfast was fresh fruit and eggs, as well as toast and fresh juice. So much food! And Tatti even asked me if I want more!
Other services they offer: Tatti provided a great amount of guidance, I sense she is a woman with fantastic connections around the country. I was leaving Havana the morning that Obama arrived so was having difficulty getting a taxi to the bus station.. However Tatti had it sorted!
Tatti also booked me a reservation at a great local restaurant.
I had difficulty getting my phone to work so Tatti allowed me to use her phone to make a local call.
Although I don't smoke myself smoking seems to be permitted in the casa.
Tatti's English is very good.
Other comments: I would highly recommend to anyone who would like to experience the warmth and hospitality of beautiful Cuban people.

Casa Tati Lopez Havana
My review: Stayed with Titi and her auntie last October. I could not find a fault at all. Both made me feel at home. Food was very good and was always getting my glass filled with rum. I also stayed with them for a few days before my flight home. The location in Central Havana is ideal. If you want to live in the real Havana stay in Central
How was your room?: Good twin room with my on bathroom, Fridge and TV
How was the food they offer?: I only had the breakfast for the first 2 days. Not that I didn't like the food but I'm not much of a eater first thing in the morning. Trust me,after the breakfast you won't need to eat until the evening -)
Other services they offer: Titi was very helpful with all transport and other Casa recommendations in Cuba
Other comments: Meeting Titi and her Auntie was one of my highlights of my trip. Just be prepared to be kissed on the cheek everytime you enter the room. But seriously stay here

Casa Tati Lopez Centro Havana
My review: The casa was located in Centro Havana very close to everything. just about 10 min you could reach Havana Centro y Havana Viejo and the other direction La Rampa which is the main street of the night life as well about 10 min walk.
How was your room?: Our room was very clear, private bathroom, mini bar.
How was the food they offer?: We got breakfast which was more than enough and very delicious
Other services they offer: Tati was helping us with any kind of problems, quiestion and phone calls.
She as well orginazied for us other casa particulares in Santiago de Cuba,Trinidad and Vinales which was a big help to us and made our trip much more comfortable
Other comments: Tati and the lovely Aida are such a nice persons very warm and helpful people. |
