Mara's Home

My review: You have to be sure to have a reservation for Mara’s beautiful colonial yellow home. She’s quickly booked full – for a reason! Mara’s home was the best place in Cuba. She couldn’t accommodate us, but she always helped us find great rooms with neighbours. Even when we arrived in the middle of the night, she and her daughter got up to walk us to our casa. Sometimes while staying in casa particulares you notice that people are not always used to tourists, but Mara used to manage big hotels and definitely knows about hospitality. It’s hotel service in a bed&breakfast atmosphere. You’ll come as a guest, but leave as a friend.
