La Casita Longina
My review: La Casita Longina is a very nice and welcoming apartment. It is really very nice with the two small balconies with plants. In the apartment you find yourself in the center. Everything is close. But if you seek peace and quiet, do not stay there. Many people are moving all day on the pedestrian street Obispo. There are also relatively much traffic on the intersecting street Habana. In the bar/restaurant across the street you can hear a lot of and loud music, which can be disturbing. But I give La Casita Longina highest grade. Reception and services including cleaning was very good!

La Casita Longina
My review: La Casita Longina is my "Home away from Home" whenever I visit Havana and Cuba. Newly renovated bathroom and Kitchen area this year. (We stayed for 3 weeks in January this year 2014 and last year Jan/Feb 2013 for 2 weeks). Our host Paula was there for our every need. Directions to sights and recommendations for really great places to eat. We shared some of our finds with her too. It's within walking distance to everything you may want to visit in the Old Town, a short bus ride to the beach and a perfect home base for day trips by car to many sights outside of the downtown by car. Very safe and friendly parking around the corner from the apartment. MN store across the street for basic needs, telephone store to recharge cell phone cards across the street, La Lluvia de Oro for great live music across the street. Main bank for currency exchange and a great bakery just steps away on Obispo. I couldn't ask for more and yes, you to can live like a local in Havana. I'll be back again next year! Thank you so much Paula, Chino,Ariel and Pedro! You've become my Cuban Family over the years and I always feel safe staying here in your care!
