Nuestra estadía fue fantástica, Hilda y Alejandro son personas muy cálidas y hacen sentir desde el primer minuto como en casa. Hilda es muy atenta, y estuvo siempre preocupada de todos los detalles para que nuestra estadía fuera perfecta. Ambos son grandes conversadores y nos encantó conocer más Cuba y a los cubanos a través de ellos. Las chicas que tiene Hilda para ayudarla en casa son las Yusis y Carlise, las 3 chicas igual de amables que los dueños de casa. Al llegar y durante nuestra estadía nos hicieron muy buenas recomendaciones para comer, lugares que visitar, que hacer y no hacer, cuanto pagar, etc. En una no le hicimos caso y compramos habanos Cohiba por mucho más dinero del que podríamos haber pagado en otra parte, pero como dice Alejandro eso no fue una estafa, sólo fue una compra cara jejeje Pieza y baño muy cómodo, todo muy limpio Aire acondicionado nuevo que no hace ruido... maravilloso para soportar el calor de La Habana Desayunos, tal como los queríamos y a la hora que los pedíamos. El descanso perfecto, a pesar de que algunos días la pieza del lado estuvo ocupada nunca escuchamos ruido. También para eso son preocupados, lo que se agradece muchísimo. En la Habana no dejamos conocidos, dejamos amigos con quienes hasta la fecha seguimos en contacto vía email. Ojalá la vida nos vuelva a juntar y Dios permita que sea, ya con un Cuba con menos necesidades. Un abrazo cariñoso para ustedes amigos.

How much did you pay per night?: 40 CUCS plus 5 CUCS for Breakfast

I have stayed in this casa six different times, for as little as one week, and as long as three weeks. It is ideally located within walking distance of all of the sites, museums, restaurants, etc. in Vieja Habana. And it is always impeccably clean and welcoming. More importantly, the owners Hilda and Alejandro are among the most loving people you will ever meet. They go out of their way to make sure you understand how much they care about you and your vacation. And another plus: Hilda is a superb cook!! The only "problem" is they are rather well known, so make your reservation as early as you can!

How was your room?: Clean, well-appointed, with private bath, air-conditioning, a small refrigerator stocked with beer, water and soft-drinks, and a comfortable bed. Clean sheets and towels show up often, and Hilda and Alejandro are always there if you need anything at all.

How was the food they offer?: Hilda is a wonderful cook, and serves outstanding fresh breakfasts including fresh fruit and fruit juices, bread, coffee, tea, eggs, and whatever else you'd like.

Other services they offer: Alejandro will arrange for your ride in from Jose Marti airport, often times picking you up himself. Should you take a taxi on your own, if you don't have CUCS to pay the driver, he and Hilda will pay and add it to your bill.

Other comments: This is THE place to stay in Havana!!
