We are located in Old Havana, a 30 minutes from the airport, in the best part of the town, very near to the National Capitol, Central Park, the famous Floridita Restaurant. Our apartment is equipped with one bedroom (air conditioning), bathroom (hot/cold water), living room, kitchen and balcony with a good view. Llamirka y Raul were the best kind of hosts you can ask for. They welcomed us to their beautiful stately apartment in the HEART of old Havana with amazing Cuban Coffee. They gave us insights into their country, neighborhood and a list of their favorite eateries. Their apartment is close to EVERYTHING - bank, supermarket, fine restaurants, sights, artisan market, modern art gallery, bookstores, transportation, you CANNOT go wrong staying here. For those of you ultra sensitive to noise, bring ear plugs, which easily did the trick, as on Friday night, the amazing music can at times play into the night. The apartment was BEAUTIFUL and extremely CLEAN and the balcony that overlooks the streets was an absolute highlight for our trip. How was your room?: Excellent condition, well ventilated, clean. The main full size bed was nice and firm, the second full size bed was softer How was the food they offer?: They offered us wonderful coffee when we arrived and departed. We did not order food as the location was ideal for going out to eat. Other services they offer: Great hospitality. Simple laundry service, but we ended up not needing it. Other comments: We highly recommend Llamirka y Raul's apartment, its our home away from home in La Habana! Hübsche saubere Wohnung mit kleiener Küche. Vom Balkon des dritten Stockes konnte man herrlich das Treiben auf der Strasse verfolgen. How was your room?: Ruhiges Schlafizimmer im hinteren Teil der Wohnung. How was the food they offer?: Es wird kein Essen angeboten, doch Llamirka hat uns gute Tippes für Restaurants in der Nähe gegeben. Other services they offer: Wir konnten am Tag unserer Abreise das Gepäck bis 14.00 Uhr in der Wohnung lassen und vorher nochmals das Badezimmer benutzen. Feb 19 2017
APARTEMENTO LLAMIRKA Y RAULMy review: I had a great stay here. Raul was very helpful from start to finish, being very communicative to arrange very last minute & then an excellent host, I arrived to Raul & Llamurka (who very friendly & welcoming, telling me all about the town), showing me around the place (which is lovely & airy, with a fab little balcony overlooking the street in a very handy location in Vieja). My 3 nights were fab, with so much to do in Habana, and a nice cool bedroom with air-con to cool off at night (after a cheeky beer on the balcony before bed of course). |
