Review
Lester and Naty's home was the best casa we stayed in during our two week stay in Cuba. The true test is how well the home is with my children and while each casa we stayed at was wonderful and warm towards the children, Lester and Naty seemed to really connect with them, and it warmed my heart to see how special my kids were treated. I was even able to leave them there while I went to the store. The food was spectacular and the home clean, inviting and quiet. We didn't feel like hotel guests so much as house guests. We didn't feel we had to stay in our rooms, but rather we spent a lot of time in the garden where my kids chased and caught lizards all day. Lester arranged a shared car rental with another couple staying at his friend's casa and we drove out to Cayo Santa Maria.
This casa will definitely be our first stop next trip to Cuba.

How was your room?: The room was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable.
How was the food they offer?: Unbelievably good food.
Other services they offer: They arranged pick up and drop off into Santa Clara, and helped us arrange a tour of the town, and with meting up with another couple to share a car.
Other comments: I feel that we made lifelong friends with Lester and Naty and can't wait to go back.

Review
We stayed in several casa particulars during our tree weeks in Cuba, but staying with Lester and Naty stands out as being the best part of our time in Cuba.
We experienced such warm hospitality, they are such wonderful, kind people and they treat their guests like beloved family members.
The casa is a real gem.
We also loved Remedios. Its a quiet and lovely city from where you can visit easily Cayo Las Brujas and Cayo Santa Maria. The playas were extremely beautiful.
Lester can give you all the information you need to spend a great time.
Both hosts are very enthusiastic and we had loved to spend some more time with them.
How was your room?: Accommodation was very comfortable; we stayed in big room and have everything we need. The bathroom was good - very clean and no problems with hot water.
How was the food they offer?: We tasted amazing dinners and breakfasts - the food was delicious and there was a lot more than two people could eat.

We have stayed 2 nights in Buen Viaje. A beautiful casa in perfect comfort. They take great care to delicious and healthy food, partly from the garden. The hospitable family do not know what to do all to ease their guests'. Remedios itself is worth visiting: the village, history, museums.

Without a doubt, the afternoon, night and morning we spent with Naty and Lester was the highlight of our 9 days trip to Cuba. We stayed 5 days in a casa particular in Havana and 3 days in a big hotel in Cayo Santa Maria. Nothing compared to the warmth and hospitality of Hostal Buen Viaje. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean; the A/A and the mini-fridge were new; the private bathroom was clean and roomy. However, what made the Hostal shine was the outstanding service provided by the hosts. Our meals (dinner and breakfast) were not only adequately price, they were delicious. In fact, they were the best we had in Cuba (and we tried many places, including some fancy places in Havana). Moreover, had not been for Lester's mojito, I would have left the Island thinking Cubans had fo! rgotten how to mix their legendary cocktail (seriously, do not judge a mojito until you have tried Lester's). Naty and Lester were also very helpful given us travel tips and suggesting activities around Remedios. Their advices proved to be accurate and quite beneficial for us as tourists (like the taxi driver to Cayo Santa Maria, a very nice guy). The best part of the stay: just taking to them. They are humble, knowledgeable, funny and genuine human beings. With no reservations, one reason for us to go back to Cuba is simply to stay a few more days at Hostal Buen Viaje.

I enjoyed the great cordiality and hospitality of Naty and Lester and I loved the familial athmosphere in the house.
Naty prepaired so tasty dinners and I enjoyed the fantastic lobster they prepaired for me.
They have been very helpful hosts,having allkind or informations about the town and its culture.Lester is in contact with the other casas and he arranged for me a very nice trip to the cayos together with others.
The rooms are very clean and comfortable.The patio with its rocking chairs,the flowers growing and special moijto prepaired from Lester is wonderful to enjoy the evening.
I absolutely want you to have listed this jewel on your website.

Naty and Lester made us feel very welcome in their beautiful casa. The food was great and also the mojito's! ;-) It's a pity we didn't get the chance to spend more time with them, but we only stayed one night and connected with the British neighbours ( Waving to Karin and Andrew, who told us how to make proper tea !!) If you go to Remedios, stay with Naty and Lester. They will be able to give you advise what to do and what to see and help you arranging it. They are the best and we will never forget them!!

We went there for one night without really knowing where Remedios was and when we had to leave the Hostal Buen Viaje, 4 days afterwards, we left with the feeling we want to be back. And will come back for sure!
The house and the food is great. The Lester and Naty treatment is perfect and it was great to spend time with them listening to many old stories about Remedios. We also were lucky enough to spend New Year's Eve with them!
From Remedios in 30 minutes by car across a very nice scenery you arrive at Cayo Santa Maria where the beaches are spectacular and you can choose from wild beaches (where you will be alone on the beach) or hotel beaches (paying something.)

My wife and I have just returned from 3 weeks in Cuba. We booked Hostal Buen Viaje on-line, having read the rave reviews. While we had planned only 2 or 3 days in Remedios, we were so pleased with Lester and Naty that we extended our stay to 5 days. Lester met us, just as promised, at the bus station in Santa Clara and, on our arrival at the house; our reaction was "Wow!" The house is extremely clean and airy, with lots of areas where one can sit and relax after a long day of touring. Our room had a small fridge, well stocked with cold drinks and bathroom with hot water was plentiful. Naty and Lester were dedicated to providing us with the best possible authentically Cuban experience. The meals - breakfasts and dinners - were excellent. We were introduced to their family (Andy and Nail), which helped us forget how much we missed our own grandchildren! When we were ready to leave Remedios, Lester helped us plan our itinerary, and called ahead to reserve casas particulares in all the cities we would be visiting. So, Lester and Naty, you have become like family to us, and we hope to return soon to Hostal Buen Viaje.
