Located in the Guanacahabibes Biosphere Reserve, in eastern Cuba, is María la Gorda (Mary the Fat), where divers can enjoy crystal-clear and warm waters in 39 diving spots.

Experts consider that the seabed at María la Gorda is among the top ten places in Latin America, due to its abundant marine life and extraordinarily beautiful corals.

This Diving Center has 50 sites of high level diving, some are still not named, all of them are less than 1 hour cruise, some at even 5 minutes away. Generally, the are all much more alike, many are suitable for wall diving, but each one has its particular charm.
We suggest to you El Cabezon de Ludo, El Salon de Maria, El Almirante y Yemaya, and the second diving of the day Acuario, El Ancla de Francois and El Jardin de la Gorgonia.

Since the diving site is very near, you can do the first dive in the morning, at about 09:00 get back to the Villa, and then second dive in the afternoon, at about `15:00. As a protection measure, the Diving Center makes sure that divings cannot go deeper then 30 meters (98 feet) and not more than 40 minutes dive.

Note: A Divers Certification Card is required.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

The hotel reservations require prepayment. Your credit card will be debited within 24 hours after making your reservation. The charge will be in EURO currency and your bill will state: www.ctnres.com. The total charge includes all room charges and taxes, as well as fees for access and booking. Any incidental charges such as parking, phone calls and room service will be handled directly between you and the property. Your reservation is guaranteed for late arrival.

Once you have paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy applies:
If you cancel the reservation 72 hours before your intended arrival date, we will refund you the total amount that you paid for your reservation, minus the amount of 15.00 EURO for administration fees. If you cancel the reservation within 72 hours or less of the date of arrival, we will refund you the total amount that you paid for the reservation, minus the amount of the first night of your intended stay for no-show charges.

We will not make refunds to credit cards, other than the credit card that was used for your booking. We may process refunds via wire transfer, in which case we will deduct any bank charges from the refundable amount. We aim to process refund within 72 hours after receiving your refund request and required information.

Accommodation is usually available from 14.30hrs on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11h00 hrs on the day of departure. The number of guests in each room is limited to the number of beds provided by the hotel. Rates are inclusive of value added tax.
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure accuracy and availability, some errors might still occur. Once aware of such incidents we will make all reasonable effort to advise you within 48 business hours of the booking being made. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation and refund all monies paid, but this of course will be without any liability to you.
