Located
just 79 km west of Havana
in the Las Terrazas forest preserve, Hotel La Moka is one
of the most unique hotels we've seen.
Set amid the forested hills of Las Terrazas, it's difficult
to say where the 4-star hotel stops and the forest starts.
In short, the Moka is romantic, intimate, and fully deserving
of your time.
Moka's
designed is based on a contemporary interpretation of Spanish
colonial architecture, and features a splendid multi-tiered
atrium lobby built around a large lime tree (the branches
magically disappear through the skylight). The two-story
units have magnificent red-barked trees growing through
the balconies and ceiling.
Complejo Turistico Las Terrazas is located
in an area of around 5,000 hectares, in which a project
of sustainable rural economy is being developed, based on
the rational use of its natural resources for tourism. The
buildings of Las Terrazas Community have been designed to
blend with their surroundings.

Each room has floor-to-ceiling glass
windows and a French door leading onto a spacious terra-cotta-tiled
balcony with tables, reclining chairs, and a to-die-for
view through the trees, to the lake. The bathroom is
as romantic as can be with a big tub at the base of
an enormous window looking out at the woods, making
you feel as if you are bathing in a stream. It is doubtful
that you have ever slept so close to the wilderness
in such great comfort.

Cancellation
Policy:
Once you have paid for your reservation, the following cancellation
policy applies: - if you cancel the reservation 72 hours before
your intended arrival date, we will refund you the total amount
that you paid for your reservation, minus the amount of 15.00 EURO
for administration fees. - If you cancel the reservation within
72 hours or less of the date of arrival, we will refund you the
total amount that you paid for the reservation, minus the amount
of the first night of your intended stay for no-show charges. Your
bill will state: CTN Reservation. Refunds will be credited to your
credit card within 48 hours after receiving your refund request
and required information. To obtain your refund you must provide
us with copies of your passport and credit card statement that shows
the amount charged by Caribbean Travel Network.
Payment
Policy:
This hotel requires prepayment. Your credit card will be debited
within 24 hours after making your reservation. The charge will be
in EURO currency and your bill will state: CTN Reservation. The
total charge includes all room charges and taxes, as well as fees
for access and booking. Any incidental charges such as parking,
phone calls and room service will be handled directly between you
and the property. Your reservation
is guaranteed for late arrival.
