Casa La Gran Familia
My review: We staid in the house of Samuel and Elizabeth for two nights. It was a wonderful halt in the valley of Vinales. We recommend you to taste the lobster and the fish. The room is very large and clean. There are two greats beds and you can take a mojito on the roof, looking at the sunset. Samuel is always of good advice and helped us to prepare our exploration of the valley. Elizabeth is an amazing cooker and a charming host. The food was wonderful and very well prepared. It is the perfect place to discover the beautiful valley of Vinales.

General review:
My boyfriend and I (both aged 23) have been backpacking for 5 months around South America, and this is definitely the best place we stayed. It was our first time in Cuba and we went to Havana, Trinidad and Vinales amongst others. We stayed in casas throughout cuba and I was most impressed with the Gran Familia. The room was big and spacious, with air con and ensuite bathroom. The food was delicious, and you even got your own dining room and front porch to sit out at. The family we stayed with were the best hosts I've come across. They will go out of their way to make you feel at home, arrange things for you such as horse riding, trips to the beach etc. and will even write out a suggested itinerary for you (if you want them to) suggesting where to go to make the most of your stay, with time and money considered. Sam also picks you up from the bus stop when you arrive. To add to all this, the home-made mojitos on the terrace at sunset top it all off. I couldn't recommend this ! place more. If you're thinking of staying here, you won't regret it.

How was your room?: The room was clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and air conditioning. There were two double beds, a safe was provided, and there was spacious wardrobes. There was also an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom was very clean and the shower had hot and cold water.
How was the food they offer?: The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were very generous. There's options of fish, pork, chicken, pastas, salads, and for a little extra lobster!! all of these come with accompaniments. We definitely didn't go hungry and enjoyed every meal.
Other services they offer: Samuel is more than willing to arrange trips for you and help you organize anything during your stay, whether you want to use the internet, go to see the sights, or organize where you will stay next (he has places he can recommend). I would 100% recommend staying here. Out of all the places I've been I will definitely remember this one as standing out as brilliant hospitality.

Casa La Gran Familia Vinales
My review: We stayed three nights in this casa particular and I can highly recommend it. The casa is owned by Samuel and Elizabeth, they are fantastic people and they make you feel better than at your home!
Breakfast was delicous with fresh fruits in abundance and Samuel prepares the best mojito in all Cuba! I'm vegetarian and I strongly recommend this casa to all vegetarians because Elizabeth cooked for me some delicious vegetarian plates with fantasy and ability, and it's not so easy to find this special treatment in Cuba.She is really a great cook!
They rent a clean, well furnished room with airco, fridge and private bathroom and a beautiful terrace. They live next tha apartment and are always ready to help you in everything: explanations, tickets, excursion and everything else you need.
This is really the best casa we've stayed in Cuba.

Review
We stayed 2 relaxing nights at this wonderfull Casa. Elizabeth & Cuco and their complete family will make you feel both and home and in your own private hotel.
They will provide a great room with airco, but also a dining room, porch and roof terras.
Samuel has a great tip for a swim in a pool, and the food is excellent.
Too bad our Spanish was only good enough for small talk but we enjoyed our stay and their hospitality.

Review
We loved our stay at Casa La Gran Familia.
Most of all we had a very warm welcoming.
Elisabeth is a lovely person who makes you feel at home and make your stay very pleasant.
The rooms are nice and spotless with very big and comfortable single beds, private bath, and you also have your private dining room with a terrace outside. There are also a sitting place at the roof with a beautiful view.
Elisabeth served us the most tasteful meals, both breakfast and dinner. The fish was perfect and juicy and the lobster delicious. There were plenty of food and always with fresh fruit.
And the mojito served on the roof was great.
We would love to return.
