Villa Barby y Omar
We only wantet to stay 2 days in Vinales but liked it so much we stayed 1 week.
The Vinales Valley is fantastic and in Barby and Omar's house we felt like home.
The family is very nice and they do everything to make you feel comfortable. Omar is unique! He offers guided excursions and tells you a lot about nature and the life in Vinales. His wife Barby is a great cook! We had nice conversations with their daughter Yomara who told us a lot about life in Cuba....
All in all absolutly recommendable!!!

How was the food they offer?: Barby is a great cook! She asks you in the morning what you would like to eat.
The food is delicious - and plenty!!!
Other services they offer: If you go to Vinale you should go on a excursion with Omar!!!

Casa Barby y Omar
Spent 3 nights at Casa Barby & Omar, located close to most of the activity of the main town of Vinales. We were referred to this website by Francisco and Any, the owners of Villa Cristal who we had hoped to stay with, but who were fully booked - but who were extremely helpful.
The family is very warm and hospitable, and the dinners prepared were traditional and very delicious. Omar is a wealth of information on the area, and you should speak Spanish to fully enjoy the experience with this family.
Based on the description on this page, I expected a view of the mogotes from the home, but in fact you cannot actually see the "spectacular" view as it lies behind the home.
