Villa El Isleño
We didn't have a good stay here at all.
We liked Viñales but left for Havana a night early because we wanted to leave this casa and didn't want to have to find and move into another one for just 1 night.
Casa style: Quiet, Smelly, No frills, Safe
Amenities: Private entrance, Private bathroom, Minibar, Garden, Ceiling fan
How was your room?: The room was ok, you don't expect luxury, but there were no windows just shutters, so the place had loads of frogs getting in if they the shutters were open, or it was really dark if they were closed.
A lady came to clean the floors in our room but the cloth was filthy and left the room stinking of urine.
How was the food the offer?: We felt bullied into having food there. When we said we didn't want to buy any dinner, they sent 3 people one after the other to try and convince us. We eventually had dinner and it was ok but more expensive than outside, as were the drinks.
Other services they offer: The woman organised a horse riding tour for us, which was twice as long and twice as expensive as we had arranged.
Other comments: It was eight months or so since we were there, I havn't left a review for anywhere else, good or bad, but I really felt I need to write this one.
