Review
We spent just one night in Villa La Cubana on our way through Vinales. Maria pleasantly surprised us by picking us up from the bus station. The room was spacious, safe and clean and offered both air conditioning (very noisy) and a ceiling fan. The bathroom with shower was next door.
Maria is a great cook; we very much enjoyed her food. We also had many interesting conversations with her - our Spanish was a little rusty, but Maria is exceptionally easy to understand and converse with.

How was your room?: The room was spacious and clean with ceiling fan and air conditioning. The bedsheets were slightly too small, so that it was impossible to avoid them slipping off the mattress at night.
How was the food they offer?: The food was very tasty; Maria is an excellent cook. We remember her particularly fondly for her very delicious pancakes for breakfast.
Other services they offer: Like most casa owners Maria can arrange many things - just ask.
Other comments: When we checked out Maria charged us a little more than initially agreed, but we decided not to query it, because we had enjoyed our stay.

What makes Villa Cubana most special is its hostess - Maria. An absolutely wonderful person, she makes you feel at home and she is really commited in helping you enjoy your stay. She is charming, open-minded and speaks from the heart. Yes, and as many have commented on, a great cook. We do recommend her langosta dish (lobster) - it does remain the best meal we had in Cuba over 2 weeks (and that includes several lunches and dinners in high-* resorts).
The casa is simple, but all of it is clean.
Light sleepers should be aware that the room is facing the street... good to enjoy evening street-activity but the early morning traffic (tractors, busses etc) is on the loud side.

Review
Maria is a nice person and a great chef. We appreciated most the lobster in tomato sauce and her pancake at breakfast was delicious. Morover the fruits from the garden was very sweet. Speaking with her, we understood the real life in Cuba. We really suggest the house.

Review
I had a great time at Maria's casa. Here cooking is fantastic. Especially the lobster in tomato sauce. All the vegetables are straight from the family's garden. Everything is neatly and wonderfully presented. The room is plain but sparkling clean and cool. Maria is a very nice host and the perfect person to practice your Spanish! The street is a bit busy with noisy, gas emitting tractors and early farmers wagons. The latter only adding to the country feeling. I would absolutely recommend Maria's Villa Cubana.

An amazing house to stay and spend some days in this genuine cuba region. At maria you will eat very well, you must try the fish. rooms are very decent and clean. the family, teresita, maria and mario are very friendly and help you to programme your stay in beautiful Vinales.

We were very well received by Mary. She makes very good food pancakes for breakfast are just super good. Clean and nice place. Francisco who lives across the street was a great help to us when he was very good at speaking English and the other was genuinely friendly and helpful.
Can recommend this place to everyone.

Shame the weather` was a bit cold...the food from Maria certainly made it worthwhile! No need to worry about the lack of English, as Francisco and his lovely wife were only across the road to help out.

Really great place to stay, loved Vinales.
Maria and her family were great hosts, our daughter (age 2 and a half) loved it here and they were so kind to her. They really looked after us and I would go back anyday.
