Hotel Barlovento
My review: Nicely laid out with clean pools and grown in topical gardens. Quite lovely. Easy beach access, easy access to roads and lanes leading east into Veradaro town. Friendly knowlegable front staff. When the onshore east wind goes down at night, a vile gagging smell creeps into the area from inland petroleum plant.
How was your room?: Quite adequate for a 3 star hotel. But nothing we did could keep out the night time gas smell.
How was the food the offer?: Fairly good, no line-ups, lots of everything. Good table service. Great music but as soon as we bought their CD they would stop playing or move on.
