Villa Rio MarMy review: Wunderschöne Casa Wir haben Ende November 2016, 2 Nächte in der Villa Rio-Mar verbracht und. konnten es nicht besser treffen. Unser Zimmer lag im ersten Stock, mit großer Terrasse und Blick auf die Bucht. Dort nahmen wir auch unsere Mahlzeiten ein. Das Frühstück sowie das Abendessen waren sehr lecker und reichhaltig und ließen keine Wünsche offen. Daniel und Iyima, unsere Gastgeber, taten alles für unser Wohlbefinden. Die Tage in Playa Larga werden für uns unvergesslich bleiben, dafür möchten wir uns noch vielmals bei Daniel (Motico) und Iyima bedanken. Jan 4 2017
Casa Villa Rio MarMy review: Again I stayed at Rio Villa Mar. This time I made the trip to Playa Larga just to stay at this casa and enjoy the fantastic hospitality of the hosts, wonderful views and vibe. Aug 1 2016 Rio Villa MarMy review: It's always going to be a great day at Rio Villa Mar. Stay in any one of 3 comfortable rooms and enjoy the best hospitality in the region. My stay was fantastic...with delicious food, great views and beaches. There are so many things to do, you will have trouble deciding what to do first. Everything from complete adventure to ultimate relaxation...just ask your hosts Motica and Iyima for information on anything you would like to see or do, or experience. Better yet call ahead and make a reservation as this place tends to book full very fast. Give them a call, drop an email their way and stay a while....and enjoy! You'll be a happy you you did. How was your room?: open and breezy, freshly decorated How was the food they offer?: The food is wonderful... Other services they offer: meals, arrange for scuba diving, forest trekking, bird watching, great information on all the best beaches in the area. Where to go out for dinner and where not. Villa Rio-MarMy review: Motica and Iyima run a great casa and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone! We would stay here again in a heart beat. The casa is about a 3 minute walk to the beach and about a 10 minute walk into town where there is a bank and a money exchange (Cadeca). The Viazul bus drops you off at the entrance of town, from which it's about a 1km walk to Villa Rio-Mar (though you can get a bici taxi to take you there for 1 CUC). How was your room?: This casa is very clean and bright and has a lovely view from the upstairs terrace. The room we were in (upstairs, inside) had lots of space for our luggage and the bathroom had a great shower. How was the food they offer?: The food was phenomenal - Iyima is a fantastic cook, and the portions of food were huge. We had breakfast (5 CUC) at the casa every morning and had dinner (12-15 CUC) there every night except one. The woman who made breakfast and helped with dinner, Ladi, also made great food and was very tolerant with us practicing our Spanish with her! Other services they offer: Motica arranged for us to go on a nature tour (he set up the taxi and the tour for us), as well as arranged a taxi to bring us to Matanzas (our next stop). He also recommended some great spots to try fishing, as my partner brought his fishing rod :) Feb 5 2016
Villa Rio Mar Motica y IyimaMy review: We've been in this casa for 2 nights in the first week of january. Motica's wife welcomed us, she is very kind and suddenly gave us some practical informations. The house has two floors, our room was at the second floor, and it was comfortable and clean. There is also a terrace with a nice view. We had dinner there, always at the casa, and it was very good, as also the breakfast! it is possible to have also some coktails and the pina colada is super. The casa is very close to a beautiful beach, with palms and big coloured crabs sometimes. Motica helped us also to organize our excursion to the national park, we recommend to ask him for every kind of information, he speaks also english, put yourselves in his hand and you will not be disappointed! We highly recommend this casa, for the people that you will find, for the position, for the food, drinks, for everything! Feb 1 2016
Villa Rio MarMy review: Great spot to relax or base yourself for diving adventures or trips into the Zapata Reserve. The hosts were amazing, Motica helped us book tours into the reserve and secure a classic American car to drive us from Playa Larga to Trinidad with an English speaking driver. His wife Iyaima cooked us some fantastic food and looked after us and our 18month old son. The rooms were clean and well maintained, our only regret was not staying longer. Feb 1 2016
Casa Rio Mar Motica y IyimaMy review: Casa Rio Mar, and the owners Daniel and Iyima could not be more lovely. They are very easy going and the food was amazing, add to that the cleanliness and chic decor of the rooms and en suite bathroom, it was a very luxurious stay for me and my friend. The beach is 20 seconds walk and from the terrace where you have your breakfast lunch and dinner there is a lovely view of the port and the sea. Daniel knows a lot about the area and Cuba in general and is great for a chat. We loved our stay there and I would and hopefully will definitely return there, hopefully for a longer stay! |
