Hostal La Roca Holguinera
My review: Great place, great owners...Daniel and Marcia. They helped us with some of the logistics for our bike trip and went out of their way to give us information and assistance - very kind, friendly and on the ball. Daniel speaks quite good English and is now working on his German. The room is upstairs off a rooftop patio with private bathroom and shower. They served great food and we would definitely stay there again. ( We stayed the first and last nights of our trip at this Casa)

Hostal La Roca Holguinera
My review: Absolutely a great stay, might very well be the best stay, and weve been to alot.
Travelling in and around holguin we constantly got back to this house to meet with Daniel and Marcia, which would then recomend other places and come along to bring us to the next casa. Daniel and Marcia offer great services, taxi, airport pickup...theres alot more. The food is absolutely wonderfull, (coming from a professional) hands down the best we've had in Cuba, better than the restaurants and the other casa's. This will definately be my safe house in Holguin, in Cuba.
Dont miss this place.

How was your room?: Amazing, very neat, CLEAN and HYGIENIC, nice smell and every day service.
How was the food they offer?: Ridiculious, amazing, hands down very very good! Wide arrangement of sidedishes, drinks and bites. Just complete.
Other services they offer: Taxi service, good service and once you get to know the driver everything becomes so much better. All are friends of the family.

Villa la Roca Holguinera
My review: Absolutely wonderful place to stay. The owners Daniel and Marcia makes you feel very welcome indeed and their food is delicious.
We can only give this place our highest recommendations and wish we had planned to stay more days with them.
Worth noting, the Google place mark for Holguin - Hostal La Roca Holguinera is wrongly placed and should be moved up along Carretera de Gibara to Calle 26 just to the left and before Camino Militar. Alcides Pino.*
But if you have trouble finding them, Daniel will come and find you and lead you to the house.

Casa La Roca Holguinera
My review: We visited La Roca Holguinera for 14 days.
We had a very nice stay.
Every morning they served us a very nice breakfast.
The room was very comfortable and clean.
The owner of the place Daniel and his family gave us much attention and they were very nice to us.
We will recommend to everybody La Roca Holguinera.

My review: The couple from casa particular Don Daniel and Marcia they were excellent people, very comfortable house I encouter some problem they were able to resolve the problem very responsible and service was fantastic I will recommend this house for your best vacation in Holguin Cuba. La Roca Holguinera
My review: Holguin is a nice place, however being at La Roca Holguinera mede it even nicer, is well located close to downtown. As plus the Batista family is very kind and service oriented, they care for their guests to be confortable and for any traveling arround they will give very good orientation and helpfull advice.

Villa la Roca Holguinera
My review: Daniel and he's Family are very nice and we have a very good time with them, they are very friendly and attentiv.
The breakfast was always prepared to our liking, and meals you can get at them for a very good price and delicios.
On the whole, there were great days in the hostal La Roca.

Villa La Roca
My review: Charlie & i were stuck in Holguin because we missed our plane(now this is a long story but very funny,it had something to do about a donkey & beer)and the airline lady re-booked our plane home to Vancouver a week later at no extra charge( sweet).
As we were outside the airport,i spotted a small shack that sold beer & as i was getting the beer, charlie was talking to a person about getting a cab to Holguin which was great but we did not have a place to stay.
So as i was talking to the cab drivers brother ( our canadian & spanish were not so good respectivley)we were told about this casa.
Villa LaRoca( the owners name is Daniel & his lovly familly ).
We had the best time there,with great food,excelent host and gave us a extra bed as it was a one bed room ( we only had 100 CUC in our pockets & he helped us contact home to wire us more money to our accounts)Daniel let us know about the cost of bicicabs,taxis & anything we needed to know.
Villa LaRoca in our opion was a blessing & it will be our place of residence when we are in cuba(a great jumping place if you plan to travel around cuba & we did about 5200 kms & still counting).
