The Paladar of Maeda in Havana Guanabo offers great local food. Highlights are the "House Special Platter," which is a smoked loin with rice, really tasty. The decoration, however, falls short, which is not that strange for Cuba

Review: Walking distance from the casa particular where we stayed, the food was delicious. I think renovations were done in the last couple of years. The decoration was Spanish style with a wonderfull outdor garden, full of flowers and vines. You can either sit inside or outside. Everything was fresh ans well presented. The prices were excellent.
