Description
The
Hotel Saratoga is an elegant building constructed in neoclassical/eclectic
style on an attractive corner in Old Havana
(Habana Vieja), at the intersection of the Paseo del Prado
and Dragones Street. It stands opposite the Capitolio building
and the Parque de la Fraternidad and has a spectacular view
of the prestigious Partagas Cigar Factory and Cuba’s
principal opera house, the Gran Teatro de La Habana.
The
hotel was originally built on the site in the 1930s and
swiftly became renowned for its superb cuisine, the open
air entertainments held in its pavement arcade and the concerts
given there by such renowned musicians as the Anacaona Orchestra.
The Saratoga was one of Havana’s most stylish establishments
and became a favourite haunt of writers, musicians, artists
and socialites from Cuba and overseas.
The
current building, recreated behind the Saratoga’s
historic façade, echoes the original in many details
such as the soaring central atrium, French windows with
mahogany shutters, the grand entrance and the magnificent
roof terrace with swimming pool, bar/dining area and a breathtaking
panoramic view of Havana’s port and skyline. The interior
decoration combines traditional detail with up-to-the-minute
technology to ensure superlative service and comfort for

The
foreigner visitors should make every payment in
cash using CUC (Convertible Cuban Peso). The US
dollar, Euro and other international currency
could be Exchange into CUC at the CADECAS (Currency
Exchange Desk) as well as in the International
Banks.
In
our hotel, we accept credit cards Visa and Master
Card, but not American Express neither those ones
connected to North American Banks. We offer currency
exchange service only for: US dollar, Canadian
dollar, Euro and GB Pounds; the exchange rates
are established by the Central Bank of Cuba. Very
near from the hotel, we can find an International
bank and a CADECA.

PAYMENT
& CANCELLATION POLICY
The
hotel reservations require prepayment. Your credit card will be
debited within 24 hours after making your reservation. The charge
will be in EURO currency and your bill will state: www.ctnres.com.
The total charge includes all room charges and taxes, as well as
fees for access and booking. Any incidental charges such as parking,
phone calls and room service will be handled directly between you
and the property. Your reservation is guaranteed for late arrival.
Once
you have paid for your reservation, the following cancellation policy
applies:
If you cancel the reservation 72 hours before your intended arrival
date, we will refund you the total amount that you paid for your
reservation, minus the amount of 15.00 EURO for administration fees.
If you cancel the reservation within 72 hours or less of the date
of arrival, we will refund you the total amount that you paid for
the reservation, minus the amount of the first night of your intended
stay for no-show charges.
We
will not make refunds to credit cards, other than the credit card
that was used for your booking. We may process refunds via wire
transfer, in which case we will deduct any bank charges from the
refundable amount. We aim to process refund within 72 hours after
receiving your refund request and required information.
Accommodation
is usually available from 14.30hrs on the day of arrival and must
be vacated by 11h00 hrs on the day of departure. The number of guests
in each room is limited to the number of beds provided by the hotel.
Rates are inclusive of value added tax.
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure accuracy and availability,
some errors might still occur. Once aware of such incidents we will
make all reasonable effort to advise you within 48 business hours
of the booking being made. We reserve the right to cancel the reservation
and refund all monies paid, but this of course will be without any
liability to you.
