The
luxurious Hotel Melia Cohiba is a 22 story, five star hotel opened
in 1994. It is situated right on the Malecon,
facing the Gulf Stream, and is right next door to the Hotel
Riviera in the Havana Vedado area. The Melia Cohiba offers a swimming
pool, fitness center, sauna, business center, shopping arcade, art
gallery and the Ache Disco. This hotel has been referred to as a shiny
marble palace.

is located near the Malecon about 6 km form Old Havana (Habana Vieja), 10 km from the Convention Center and about 16 km
from the Jose Marti International Airport.
The hotel offers
342 double rooms, 61 suites, 30 Junior suites and 20 Senior suites.
Both junior suites and suites offer jacuzzis. All rooms are air-conditioned,
