Casa Yara is located in Havana Vedado, at just 30 meters from 23th avenue (La Rampa). From the balcony of the casa particular at the first floor, a quiet and happy neighborhood from where you easily can get to any place in Havana. It is a simple and pleasant casa with essential conditions like cleaning, mini bar in the rooms and each room has a bathroom with hot and cold water. The owners of the casa particular are enjoyable and very friendly, they have the purpose of giving all the necessary information and guidance to help you with your stay in Cuba. They speak English and just the Captain of the family speaks a little Russian.

Casa Yara

My review: We stayed at Casa Yara in december and had an amazing time. The hosts are extremely generous and gracious and were very helpful in organizing our stay (they even offer salsa classes). The hostel is located in a nice and calm neighbourhood of Vedado just a few blocks from the Malecon. Transportation to central havana is fast and easy, just take a taxi downtown, or even better: walk down to the Malecon and hop on a coco for a great scenic ride! We highly recommend you stay at Casa Yara! Enjoy your stay!

How was your room?: The room was nice and clean and had it's own private washroom.
How was the food they offer?: They served an amazing pork which was hands down the best meal I had in cuba.
