Casa Olga
Olga is a wonderful friendly and gracious host who speaks quite good English. Her casa in Centro Havana is a short walk from the Malecon and Vedado. It is off the tourist circuit and ideal if you are looking for a more authentic Cuba experience.
The room has an ensuite bathroom, airconditioner and fans. Olga provides keys so coming and going as you please is not a problem. The room also has a TV and fridge and Olga provides bottled water which is an absolute bonus after a long hot day trekking Havana. Her breakfasts are excellent too!

How was your room?: Simple, functional and spacious. Refrigerator, TV, airconditioner and fans. Private Bathroom. Olga services the room daily. Bottled water provided.
How was the food the offer?: Olga cooks a wonderful breakfast and her fruit smoothies are a real highlight.

Casa Olga
I stayed at Casa Olga twice, when I first arrived in Havana and before leaving. Olga is a great host and the casa is very nice too! You get your own set of keys so you can walk in and out whenever you want. We went out on saturday night and got back pretty late but that wasn't a problem since we had our own keys. There's always plenty of drinking water in the fridge, for free! Which is pretty rare compared to a lot of other casas I stayed in in Cuba.
Very safe and pretty quiet at night too. There's no dinner service but we got breakfast every morning.
Casa Olga is in Centro Havana and has a great little balcony overlooking Calle San Lazaro. I must have spent hours on that balcony sipping my coffee, watching the real Cuban life happening in front of houses, at the pizza place and simply on the corner of the street.
All in all I had a great time at Olga's, she's the sweetest lady and very helpful with everything.

How was your room?: big, spacy bedroom, with a huge double bed and one single bed. Private bathroom adjoining the room. There's airconditioning and 2 ceiling fans so you won't get too hot. There's also a tv and a frigde (with free drinking water) in the room.
How was the food the offer?: Breakfast only, but great coffee!

Casa Olga Calero
From the moment we arrived to the morning we left we felt completely at home. Pototo booked this Casa for use but we were a little unsure because we couldn't find any reviews about it on the website. He said don't worry it's very nice and he was right. Olga is very friendly and helpful. We didn't ask for meals so I don't know if she offers them but she made coffee for us every morning, offered us fruit, made sure we always had drinking water in the fridge and made us cake a couple times. We had full use of the house, other than her room, while we were there so if we wanted to cook our own meals we could have. Olga's home has a terrace over looking San Lazaro Street where we usually had our coffee. The room was clean, bright and offered the basic necessities for our stay. Olga is a wonderful host and we would not hesitate to stay there again.
