Casa Angel Centro Havana
My review: I stayed in the beautiful Casa Angel with my friend. I can highly recomment this place, it´s safe, comfortable, very homelike, wellcoming. The room which we sayed was huge, with high sealing. The family prepared us a GOOOOOOD breakfast and meal every day, and as westerners, we were very pleased that when we said that we would like to eat at certain time, the meal was always on time.
Calle Neptuno is great, near of Calle Hamel for example and it takes just about 10 minutes to walk in the city center.
If you are tired to walk back, take a bicicle taxi!! :)

Casa Angel
My review: Angel was very nice and family oriented. He is also very knoledgable about Havana. His Hostal is a work in progress and was clean. He is located on the edge of Old Havana so you are witbin walking distance to all the sights of Havana.

Amenities: Safety box, Airconditioning, Private bathroom, Minibar, Breakfast service, Dinner service, Bathroom with tub, Bathroom with shower
How was your room?: Very spacious, bed was comfortable and one of the best bathrooms of the trip.
How was the food they offer?: Breakfast was great but we got in late the night before and headed for the airport at 11:00 AM so we only ate the one meal there.

Casa Angel
Review
This was a great casa to stay in for a single male student on a budget. It isn't located in a particularly tourist-friendly area, so I wouldn't recommend Angel's to someone who is new to Cuba, but if you're comfortable with Centro Habana then it's a great place to explore the city from. I will probably stay at Angel's the next time I visit Havana.
Also, Angel doesn't speak very much English, and my Spanish is poor, but we had no problems communicating.

How was your room?: It was big and comfortable, with a full set of furniture. The bathroom had all the essentials and the shower was nice.
How was the food they offer?: The lobster was superb, the other meals were okay. The portions were always huge and the price was very reasonable. I wouldn't eat here every night, but it was nice for when I was tired and didn't want to find a restaurant.
