It may be a little walk from the city plaza, but the walk will give appetite for Idania's cooking. She made the best meal we had in our 3 weeks journey in Cuba. The rooms are big, and if you ask nicely they may even wash your cloths in their machine. He speaks some English and they are both very friendly. Their roof terrace is very nice.

Host is a very kind, energetic and tiny elderly woman living in the house she was born in.
Colonial building with original antique hardwood furniture. I ate off of 100 year old gilt edged Royal
Worcester china. Spiral staircase to rooftop view of the bay. 
Very central location, clean, hot water,
good food.(No English)

Alberto and Estrella are very pleasant and warm-hearted people. Their casa is two blocks away from the Paseo del Prado (main street of Cienfuegos) and very close to the city centre.
You can park your car at the parking of the nearby Hotel Union for 1 CUC a day.
In this casa you stay in a spacious clean room with airco, mini fridge, and adjacent bathroom with toilet and bath/shower with hot and cold water.
Both breakfast and dinner are very tasteful! Try the prawns with tomato sauce and baked fish, delicious!
Alberto and Estrella speak a little bit of English and you get your own key of the house. 

Due to their enthusiasm we had a great stay here!

A bit mixed feelings about this casa, nice people but with a bit dollarsigns in their eyes ... commercial
But it IS one of the most beautiful located casas in Cienfuegos with private entrance.
On the punta with a stunning view over the water. 2 beautiful clean rooms with private bathroom. On the porche in front rockingchairs and hammocks, that was really relaxed with a mojito by your side.
Beautiful garden with several seats where dinner can be served.
.... and .... a SWIMMING POOL!!!
One of the more luxurious casas, we payed 35 cuc and 2 cuc for the car>
Food was ok and alot!

The accommodations were very good in terms of cleanliness, large room size, large private bath with hot water shower, air conditioning. The casa is very centrally located (less than a block from the Prado, a few short blocks from the pedestrian mall, the Hotel Union, Etecsa office, etc.) but still quiet. But above all we liked the warmth, generosity, and helpfulness of the hosts, Margarita and her son Isidro. (The grandson met us at the bus
station.) And the home cooking is both excellent and bountiful. Of the four casas where we stayed during our Cuban travels, this was the best (though we liked all of them).

Beautiful colonial house with 2 seperate and clean airconditioned rooms, with fridge and beautiful private bathroom. 1 treet from the Prado, everything on walking distance, good extensive breakfast. Parking in front of the house in the street.
