Casa Armando y Leonor | Cienfuegos | Cuba

From the minute I walked in the door I knew I would be staying here a while. An absolutely gorgeous Casa with a leafy "garden" area (i.e. the walkway down to the kitchen) and rooftop terrace. Centrally located, just one block from the pedestrian mall. The room nearest the entrance is large, clean, and comfortable, with an ensuite. The hosts are excedingly friendly and speak some English. While they don't provide you with a key to the front door they will get up at all hours (literally) to let you in. The food was unbelievable. I was stuffed beyond capacity with some of the best meals I have eaten at good prices. They went way beyond their role to make me feel welcome and give me a birthday dinner to remember.
